Terry A. Veling teaches in the School of Theology, Australian Catholic University, Brisbane. He received his PhD from Boston College (1995) and was also a Golda Meir Fellow at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1999). He held prior teaching positions in the USA, including St. Thomas University, Miami where he was Associate Professor of Practical Theology (2001-2005). He is the author of five books including, For You Alone: Emmanuel Levinas and the Answerable Life (Cascade Books, 2014) and Practical Theology: On Earth as It Is in Heaven (Orbis Books, 2005). He is married with four sons.
