Philosophy & Research Interests

 

I undertake pure and applied research using methodological and disciplinary lenses from psychology to examine cognitive, behavioural, affective and existential dimensions of leadership, with particular emphasis on teaching and learning, teachers, students and school leaders Prior to joining ACU I was course leader for all post-graduate leadership programs in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. I also conduct the annual Principal Health and Wellbeing Survey in both Australia and Ireland, and research OH&S/Wellbeing issues for principals and aspirant leaders.
