Research

Wellbeing and Community Participation of Gay Males

The role of community particpation and community stress in the development of Gay males. While there is a significant body of research that explores the role of community stress on gay men and their relationships, the link that community participation in their community is still an area to be explored.

Developing reflective practice in Psychology

I am interested in how to facilitate the development of reflective practice and the impact it has on the development of students across their university course.

Animal Assisted Therapy

It has been argued that the inclusion of animals in clinical settings (hospitals, nursing homes, etc) increases the effect of clinical practice. I am interested in understanding what creates change in patients&rsquo outcomes, and what can be attributed to the inclusion of the pet into the therapeutic space.

Professional Memberships

I am a registered psychologist, and a member of the APS.
