Dr Michelle Bennett
Dr Michelle Bennett is a speech pathologist and lecturer in the School of Allied Health, Faculty of Health Sciences.
Michelle joined the ACU Team, McKillop Campus in January 2015 to deliver the national program, Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Michelle completed a Doctor of Philosophy entitled "A systematic invesitagation of communication and mealtime management in residnetial aged care: Exploring perspectives and management across service providers" in 2015.
MIchelle has a clinical background in both paediatrics and adults, and prior to commencement at ACU was a lecturer in the School of Education and School of Health at the University of New England, Armidale.

Michelle is currently continuing with her research from her PhD, focussing on communication between residents of aged care facilities and care staff. She is also working with colleauges in Melbourne on the development of a national survey for speech pathologists working with older people.
