Research

My research interests include: theatrical literature and modern drama; modernism and post-modernism; spiritual and religious literature; queer theory and sexuality; LGBTI literature; political literature and its power to shape ideologies; the creative arts and pedagogy.

My PhD research focused on the intersection of theatre, religion and sexuality, evaluating the way in which performance can assist in dismantling socio-political prejudice.
